Winter Program

  • Students will be asked to take a placement test at least two weeks before classes commence. Upon completion of pre-exams, teaching assistants will assign students into varying class levels based on test results. Each class will have a maximum of 4 to 6 students. In each virtual Zoom classroom, teachers native to the United States will lead lectures and activities.

    Teaching assistants will share digital materials with students’ parents that must be printed before class. Teaching assistants will also be responsible for checking successful completion of students’ homework assignments. At the end of the workshop, students will complete a skills assessment and a teacher evaluation.

Annual Program

  • Students will be asked to take a placement test at least two weeks before classes commence. Upon completion of pre-exams, teaching assistants will assign students into varying class levels based on test results. Each class will have a maximum of 4 to 6 students. In each virtual Zoom classroom, teachers native to the United States will lead lectures and activities.

    Each grade level consists of 75 weeks of classes. Students will focus on one topic over the span of five classes. In each grade level, there are a total of 30 topics (equal to 6 units). Students will be assessed on speaking, reading and writing after completing each unit. Students will be assessed after the completion of each grade level to determine if they can proceed to the next level. Teaching assistants will share digital materials with students’ parents that must be printed before class. Teaching assistants will also be responsible for checking successful completion of students’ homework assignments.
