  • Campers are expected to demonstrate the three tenets of a hero: Courage, Honor and Compassion. This means being kind to fellow campers and staff members during your stay at The Story School.

    1. Try new things and challenge yourself to be brave when facing new situations and experiences.

    2. Follow camp safety rules.

    3. Be respectful of staff and players.

    4. Keep the game flowing by adhering to game rules and staying in character while the game is active.

    5. Be mindful of others who seem to be having trouble and alert counselors if problems arise.

    6. Practice patience with your fellow players.

    7. Respect personal boundaries and identities.

The camp employs a three strike system when campers break behavioral expectations. When a camper is given a strike, parents will be notified by camp administrators via phone. The Story School takes bullying, violence and reports of unkind behavior very seriously. Failure to comply with established rules and regulations may result in dismissal from programs.
