Why “Wonders”?

Our curriculum-based programs emphasize reading, writing, speaking and listening using “Wonders 2020 Reading/Writing” textbooks. Integrating international practices, APICC believes in the social, emotional and intellectual education of young people. “Wonders” curriculum gives students the confidence to be independent thinkers by breaking down the fundamentals of reading and writing.

Reading

“Wonders” textbooks emphasize reading fluency with a three-step approach: solidifying foundational skills, decoding complex texts and extracting information to construct meaning.

Writing

Using a step-based approach, “Wonders” program gives even the youngest students the chance to observe and participate in complex writing. The success of this curriculum lies in its 6-step approach to writing comprehension: analyzing expert models, planning, drafting, editing, proofreading and publishing.
