ENGLISH TEACHER

Alexandra is located in Michigan, USA. She graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and has a passion for working with youth from all backgrounds. She has been teaching and mentoring young ones for over 15 years and is so inspired by the curious minds and kind hearts of kids! When she is not working with children and their families, she loves to spend time with her daughter by doing art projects or exploring the outdoors. She also loves to travel, play board games, and do word puzzles. Alexandra is a full-time teacher with APICC and is comfortable teaching all levels. We use a well known and highly sought after online textbook to help each child gain knowledge and confidence with the English language. All classes include collaboration, engaging activities, colorful and exciting slides, and singing. Each student is met with kindness and patience since she understands how scary it can be to learn a new language! Alexandra understands that each student is different and therefore approaches working with each student uniquely. She absolutely loves working with all the different students through APICC and is excited to work with your child! In addition to teaching, she is also creating a Young Readers curriculum. She believes in the power of picture books and thinks this is one of the best ways for students to enjoy learning the English language while also tapping into their imagination and creativity. Alexandra is also responsible for creating promotional videos and is motivated to work closely with the company to continue to educate more and more children while we expand and grow. Alexandra is one of many teachers who are passionate about the work we do!

ENGLISH TEACHER

Ms. Trish is an experienced and passionate online English teacher. She received her teaching degree in Canada in 2003, where she grew up. She has worked with many children and adults from various countries, including China. She uses a gentle approach when correcting students on proper American pronunciation while also encouraging them to grow in their reading, conversational, speaking, and thinking skills. She currently lives in Texas in the United States with her husband and 4 children. When she is not teaching online, she volunteers with different childrens' groups, reads about English grammar, or bakes cookies.

Mr. Chris’s passion for education began as a summer camp counselor, where he intended on staying a few weeks and ended up being involved with the camp for nearly 10 years. He has been an educator for 14 years and has taught in a variety of settings, allowing him to learn from a variety of talented teachers. He has a certification in Elementary Education and endorsements in Gifted Education and English as a Second Language. He feels privileged to work with students and takes his role as an educator very seriously, educating other children as he would his own.
